On Sunday the club staged the Jackie Tague Trophy, and Graham Davidson finally ended a run of second places with a narrow win, seeing off competition from John MacPhail and Mike Campbell. Catherine Ann MacCrone went one better than the previous day to lift the ladies trophy.

Saturday saw the first playing of the Glenys Clegg Trophy in memory of the much-loved and much-missed former Lady Captain and Champion. Friends and relatives attended to acclaim winner Doris Hargreaves, who saw off close competition from Catherine Anne MacCrone and Kathy McAdam. Miniature replicas of the trophy were awarded to all who took part, and Club President Bill Clegg thanked those who competed and attended the prizegiving.
