2024 OPEN COMPETITIONS
Here at Tobermory Golf Club we have four open competitions each year, with the biggest of them being the MacBrayne cup.
The MACBRAYNES CUP is a Gents Competition held over two days on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of August.
This competition attracts, and we welcome, golfers from all over.
The format is 36 holes, stroke play ‘scratch’ and ‘handicap’ competition, with 18 holes being played on Saturday and the other 18 on Sunday. The draw for Sunday tee-times is done based on how you played on the first day with the leaders out last at 1pm.
The Saturday night is traditionally a very social night and if you are looking for a competitive fun weekend this could be the weekend for you. Please get in touch for more information.
WESTERN ISLES CHALLENGE CUP is scheduled for Sunday 28th April.
The format for this competition is 18 hole Stableford
JUBILEE CUP is scheduled for Sunday 12th May.
The format for this competition is 18 hole Stableford
SHELL CUP is scheduled for Sunday 19th May.
